rated only 3 stars, cos of the passers left hand grip: once the passer lets go of his right hand grip on the leg, the guard player’s got a small window of time to let go of his lapel grip and break the pant grip on his right leg to either:
sit up for a triangle OR get up on that leg then the passer will be on bottom,
proposed solution: a lot of my passes allow the guard player to break grips (kick and pull) while I’m passing, so maybe while in transition or before the passer lets go of his right hand grip on the leg, he can twist his left hand to a palm up/ palm towards the guard player position to nullify that grip break?
The passer is holding the pants just for balance as he said. Also if the guard player lets go of the lapel, he may lose that grip especially if the passer pulls his own lapel out of reach.
